I only have a xeroxed version of the first annual report somewhere, which I may or may not scan at one point, but I have this as an original. It basically sums up the various things Coup de Grace has done, as well some more text by Ashenden, drawings by Trevor Brown and such alike. Highly serious stuff, no smile!
Ok, let's see how you like this. This is the first issue of a magazine published by Franz Liebl, from Munich, who ran at the time (this issue is from may 1988) also a small mail order. I don't think it had a name or so. I might be wrong. But the reason you may not like this, is that its all in German. And no I don't provide translations. But don't let that keep you back from downloading and looking at it. It mainly has reviews, an article on We Never Sleep, addresses of labels and fanzines (which I don't recommend writing at these addresses anymore), a Throbbing Gristle discography and a release list. So its lots of names and that is always nice spotting. Well, I think. But I can read German.
The second issue, including pieces/interviews with The Brides Of Crist II, The Leather Nun, Savage Republic, Non Toxique Lost, Cause For Concern Tapes, Zero Kama, an article by Genesis P. Orridge and reviews on a single sided separate sheet. Mostly in English, some in German.
Here's issue #4 of File 13. Issue 5 is where this publication really starts to get serious, but it's interesting to see how these things develop and mature. For issue 4 we've got a very strange and interesting live show account by Mason Jones, continuation of the amusing scene report from Japan, Fire Party interview, and lots of cool reviews. From June 1989.
A UK publication of which I only have this issue. Contains two one page interviews with Kapotte Muziek and Aphasia and tons of interesting reviews. Published by Allon - I think the same Allonas now runs the nice Entr'acte label. The design looks like his!
An anonymous donation. I may some more issues from this magazine in the future. Not just about music, but about all 'extreme' forms of music, art & life, published by Club Moral. Articles by Giancarlo Toniutti, The Hafler Trio, Coup de Grace, Zesde Kolonne, Dirk Paesmans, Produktion, Double Vision, Club Moral, AMVK, Monty Cantsin, Strafe Fur Rebellion, Etant Donnes and more.
The third issue of Unsound, from 1983. Interviews with Boyd Rice (Non), No Trend, Glenn Branca, and Bliss Blast, articles on Whitehuose and Minimal Man, shorter coverage of Problemist and Psyclones, miscellaneous other goodies, plus lots of reviews and contact information.
This is the little brother of No Longer Forgotten Music and its aim is to post scans of fanzines out of the musical underground. These posts will be very irregular. The languages will be (probably) English, German and Dutch - languages I can read. Translations will not be provided, so please don't ask.
REPORT BROKEN LINKS THROUGH E-MAIL, NOT AS COMMENT.
Like with No Longer Forgotten Music, I have decided to sell some of the fanzines on this blog. Make me a serious (!) offer for any item you see, in euros, excluding postage and I will consider it. A lot of people ask me for prices, please don't. I have no prices, no list. You ask what you want and offer what you think is fair. DON'T ASK FOR A PRICE LIST. Please send to: <firstname.lastname@example.org>
